NBC has not yet called it a day, and has given series orders to two more projects, per Deadline's Nellie Andreeva.
"1600 Penn" is a family comedy set at the White House, starring Josh Gad, who also co-created the show, Bill Pullman, Jenna Elfman and Martha MacIsaac. Jason Winer directed the pilot.
"Animal Practice" could be labeled "House" with animals, as it revolves around a similarily cranky veterinarian (Justin Kirk) who loves animals but despised their owners. Tyler Labine, Bobby Lee and Amy Huberman star. Anthony and Joe Russo directed.
